main tasks

You will be responsible for teaching in the field of robotics, e.g. robot modelling and simulation, ROS and system simulation.

Your responsibilities will also include teaching advanced programming, electronics and technology, and technical project management.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for supervising students' final theses and support the development of the Intelligent Robotics Technology Campus.

your profile

You have completed a relevant academic degree in the field of control engineering, robotics, electronics or in a comparable degree programme. In addition, you are qualified to teach at secondary (Gymnasium) or vocational schools, hold a doctoral degree or have successfully passed the second state or master’s examination.

Applicants are also required to have at least 3 years of full-time employment outside the university sector.

You also have the necessary expertise in robotics, programming, simulation and electronics. The ideal candidate will also have experience in teaching simulation and Python.

This position requires a good command of English. German proficiency is not required, as the teaching assignment will only be carried out in international degree programmes.

A high level of self-organisation, a confident demeanour and enjoyment in working with students, especially those from an international background, round off your profile.

In principle, this position can also be filled as a part-time position. It is remunerated according to the collective bargaining agreement TV-L and allocated pay group E13 TV-L if the recruitment requirements are met.
