A whole campus becomes a party area! The Stadt Land Fluss Campus Open Air is the Deggendorf Institute of Technology's festival for students and the region. In 2015, the idea was born to set up a festival itself and it is exciting every year when the campus is transformed into a concert area.
The next Open Day in Deggendorf will be on Friday, 23 May 2025.

On 9 July 2022, from 2 until 10 pm, the European Campus hosted the summer fest again in Pfarrkirchen.
RESP e.V. was selling cakes, as well as refreshing drinks, ECRI Mensa provided several international meals, Technik für Kinder and the TK were there with fun games and experiments, the Lazy Cat Mobile offered coffee and refreshing beverages. The TuS 1860 Pfarrkirchen also played a match at the human foosball against students.

The European Campus summer festival 2019 was visited by hundreds of European Campus enthusiasts, who were entertained by DJ Nightstyle, the ECRI Band and "Sonic Brewery". Activities were enjoyed by all the children and students alike: a games café, "A Journey through different Cultures" lecture for children and youths, technical appliance construction, seed bomb activities and an alpine club climbing wall kept everyone active, while a tasty BBQ delicacies, ice-cream, cake and pretzels were devoured.
The international week is filled with a range of events, e.g. an international soccer tournament, "Taste the World" international food fair, presentation of various countries, presentation of foreign students and lecturers, study and internship presentations and a lot more.

In 2023, the so-called "Quietschietage" (Freshers' Days) took place for the first time for our first-semester students to give them the perfect start to their studies.
The colourful supporting programme, which included a tour of the campus, introductions to student clubs, table football and university cinema, gave students the opportunity to start their studies with lots of fun while getting to know fellow students and visiting courses relevant to their studies before they start.
The crowning finale of the Quietschietage 2023 was the Veilchengassenfest in the university mile of Deggendorf - with street food, exhibitions, live music and a great atmosphere.
