Eva has dedicated nearly eight years to advancing digital health, notably through her work at the Slovak National Health Information Centre, where she led international interoperability projects like the National Contact Point for eHealth. Her role extends to active participation in EU and global digital health working groups, including the eHealth Network, where she brings Slovakia's voice to critical discussions.
As Slovakia’s representative in SNOMED International and the WHO ICD-11 expert network, Eva manages project proposals, oversees grants, and advocates tirelessly for digital health. Her expertise was also crucial during Slovakia’s participation in the EHDS negotiations from 2022 to 2024.
In 2023, Eva took her mission a step further by founding the HL7 Slovakia affiliate and Digital Health Slovakia, two organizations focused on building a connected digital health ecosystem. Her goal is to integrate international best practices into Slovakia’s health landscape.
Eva’s academic background is in Economics and Languages, with studies in Slovakia, Germany, and Italy. Before her work in digital health, she spent eight years managing a Business Process Outsourcing center for Siemens Slovakia, specializing in document processing.
