The Deggendorf Institute of Technology (THD) and the district of Passau cordially invite you to the 2nd Week of Lent, which will take place at the Energy Technology Centre (TZE). This year's theme, ‘Money makes Power’, sheds light on the influence of financial systems on politics, the economy and society. Through interactive discussions and expert presentations, we will explore how sustainable financial decisions can bring about positive change.

• The role of energy communities in strengthening local economic cycles and promoting environmental responsibility.

This event is also part of the NRGCOM project within the Interreg Danube Region Programme, which supports the development of energy communities to promote the energy transition. The project focuses on:

• Creating favourable framework conditions for energy communities by analysing legal requirements and operational models.
• Raising awareness and promoting participation in renewable energy initiatives.
• Implementing pilot projects to demonstrate the potential of energy communities.
